GC also fumbled on the two and had a field goal blocked. I couldn't make it to the GC-Leb game but everyone I talked to said it should have been worse than it was. Is Helbert gonna play? if not it hurts them real bad.

As far as Helburt goes I have heard he is out but I have also heard that he is back on the team so I guess we will know right around game time.

I agree with you Helburt is a differance maker and haveing him and there Starting QB (What is his name) at the same time makes them a threat every play

Could be but I have also heard that they have brought him back.

The Kid hs some wheels on him...... IMHO the more speed Clintwood gets to see this season the better it will make them in the longrun so I am kind of hopeing that he is in the lineup

I also heard that Gate City had the ball on Lebanon's 7 yard line with a minute and a half left and Colobro had them take a knee and run the clock out. My friends that attended that game (due to the their team being on open week) also said it could have been a lot worse & that the score wasn't a good reflection of how the game went.

    Re: This week's picks

Appalachia vs Gate City - GateCity may be the best singal A team in the Region D and Appy while not the worst would be tought not to put them in the bottom 5.......My Pick CG by 50

Powell Valley vs Burton - With the brother vs brother story line I look for this one to be VERY physical from start to finish. If PV can slow/stop the Jet it will be interesting to see what Burton is holding in reserve.....PV is a good young team and will whip burton next season this year Burton still has to many weapons.....My Pick Burton by 14

Lebanon vs Clintwood - Both teams comeing off tough games and there will be a few bangs and bruses that both sides need to be able to get over quick.....Story of the game will be Helburt who missed last weeks game for unknown reasons but will dress AND play this week for Lebanon to be successful he will need a big game.....I think this will be a tight one with Clintwood pulling ahead to stay in the 2nd half..............My Pick Clintwood by 10

Kelly vs Grundy - Grundy will continue to beat the nobodys on there schedule and not many others while Kelly after there Burton setback look to get back to wraping up a Div 2 playoff spot.....My Pick Kelly by 30

Coeburn vs T. Walker - This is as big a game as there is in the Cumberland with the winner being in the drivers seat for the district championship.....I like how Coeburn has played so far this season and it is hard for me to pick against this former LPD team.......Coeburn by 7

Twin Springs vs St. Paul - I don't have much to say about eather of these teams.....TS by 14

Haysi vs Honaker - BDD Championship will be played this Friday (I think the powers that be should move this game to week 10 to build up some REAL drama) Haveing seen both teams play I think Honakeer has the better team....That being said the better team only wins this game about 1/2 the time with a week off before this game I look for Collie to throw everything but the kitchen sink at Honaker (A11, Swinging Gate, Hook and latter will all be on display).......I am picking the upset Haysi by 1 (Faked extra point for 2 points )
